Use and store method

> Preparation

Select the correct base of high-quality graphite crucible, and check the integrity of the furnace bottom and inner wall of the crucible furnace.
 

> Preheating

It is a very critical and important step for preheating of high-purity graphite crucible. In gerneral, after the first preheating, it is not necessary to preheat again unless the crucible is damped again.

When heating, it should not be heated rapidly to prevent it from being overheated and cracking, and then affecting the construction.

According to different types of crucible furnace, when using it for the first time, if here is no material is added, we need to preheat the crucible to about 200ºC (time:30 minutes). and then keep it dry for 60 minutes.

After preheating, we need to preheat the crucible to 900ºC-1000ºC(time: it is about 2 hours), and then keep it warm for 20-30 minutes, and then rise or fall to stable operation.
 

> Avoid knocking

When we adding the metal material into the crucible, please pay attention to protect the crucible and avoid knocking.

> Additive

If we want to add the additive into the molten metal, we should wait the metal is completely melted, in order to avoid corrosion of the crucible wall.

> Clean up the residue

After endding of the work, the metal residues in the high-purity graphite crucible should be completely cleaned up for the next work.

The smelt soup in the crucible should be cleared out when the furnace stop working, in order to avoid molten soup solidificating and will be expanded when fire to reheat, and affect the service life of crucible or even burst.

Packaging & Shipping

In order to protect the glaze layer of the crucible, handling crucible must be very careful, to avoid knocking, collision or falling, we can't put the crucible on the ground and rolling to transport. Once the glaze layer of crucible is damaged, it will lead to oxidation and aging of crucible easily in the process of use. The crucible should be handled carefully in a padded cart (or other suitable conveyer).

Our company use rope, rubber, moisture-proof plastic paper, shockproof to pack the crucible, and according to customers' needs,  we can customize wooden cases, export packaging cartons, paper tubes, etc., to ensure that the crucible wouldn't be damaged in  transit.
