The silicon carbide graphite crucible is made by adding silicon carbide particles of varying content to the raw material of the graphite crucible. For example, the content is 50%, 24%, and other different content. Of course, it can also be based on the different requirements of customers. Custom-made graphite crucibles with varying amounts of silicon carbide.

Silicon carbide crucible is mainly used in metallurgy, casting, machinery, chemical industry and other industrial sectors, is widely used in alloy tool steel smelting and non-ferrous metal and its alloy melting, and has better technical and economic effects.

> Fast heat conduction: because silicon carbide graphite crucible uses high thermal conductivity of graphite and other raw materials, shorten the melting time, save energy; In addition, the use of high thermal conductivity materials, dense tissue, low apparent porosity, fast thermal conductivity.

Use Method of Crucible

> Store crucibles in a dry , warm place or wooden palate

> Do not stock inside another

> Do not roll crucibles

> Use creramic fiber blanket to seal , interspace of cover and sides of furnace

> Use locating bricks in tilting furnaces,to interspace of expansion

> Tangential fire around crucible

> Add flux after metal is molten

> Avoid premature crucible failure by ensuring that the furnace drain hole is sealed

> For lift-out ,tongs must be placed on lower third crucible . fit tongs evenly on both side

> Check for cracks or other damage during transporting before use

> Base block must be flat , larger than crucible bottom and centered

> Use tongs and ingots should be placed carefully into the crucible

Packaging & Shipping

In order to protect the glaze layer of the crucible, handling crucible must be very careful, to avoid knocking, collision or falling, we can't put the crucible on the ground and rolling to transport. Once the glaze layer of crucible is damaged, it will lead to oxidation and aging of crucible easily in the process of use. The crucible should be handled carefully in a padded cart (or other suitable conveyer).
Our company use rope, rubber, moisture-proof plastic paper, shockproof to pack the crucible, and according to customers' needs,  we can customize wooden cases, export packaging cartons, paper tubes, etc., to ensure that the crucible wouldn't be damaged in  transit.

Method of Crucible Storage

The crucible should be protected from moisture. The warehouse for storing crucibles should be dry and ventilated, and the temperature should be kept between 5ºC~25ºC, and the relative humidity should be 50-60%. The crucible must not be stored on brick soil or cement floor to avoid moisture.
