This product is made from high-purity alumina (Al2O3) material, sintered at high temperatures. It offers excellent resistance to high temperatures, chemical corrosion, and high insulation properties, making it an ideal choice for applications involving high-temperature melting, heat treatment, material analysis, and chemical experiments. 

Zirconia Rod: They possess exceptional toughness and strength, thanks to a unique transformation toughening mechanism that gives them outstanding resistance to crack propagation.

The physical property differences between Alumina and Zirconia

Melting Point and Operating Temperature

Alumina (Al2O3): Has a melting point of approximately 2072°C. It's typically used below 1600°C, and can be used for short periods up to 1800°C.
Zirconia (ZrO2): Has a melting point of approximately 2715°C, which is significantly higher than alumina. This gives it superior temperature resistance, allowing it to operate for extended periods at higher temperatures.
  

Thermal Conductivity

Alumina: Has good thermal conductivity, allowing it to quickly transfer heat to the material inside the crucible.
Zirconia: Has the poorest thermal conductivity of all oxide ceramics, making it an excellent insulating material.
  

Coefficient of Thermal Expansion

Alumina: Has a relatively low coefficient of thermal expansion.
Zirconia: Has a higher coefficient of thermal expansion than alumina. This gives it better thermal shock resistance, making it less likely to crack from rapid temperature changes.
 

Corrosion Resistance
