Casting filter mesh is widely used for filtering and purifying various molten metals. Filtration through the mesh achieves the following benefits:

Improves Casting Quality and Mechanical Properties
It effectively removes harmful impurities from the molten metal, such as gas bubbles, oxide ash, and various inclusions. This eliminates casting defects like blowholes, slag inclusions, and sand holes. Using the filter mesh significantly increases the casting yield rate while enhancing both the internal and external quality. Furthermore, it improves the mechanical properties of the castings, resulting in higher hardness and greater flexural strength.

Optimizes Graphite Morphology and Machinability

Application Type:                                                         

Aluminum water filter mesh is widely applicable to various aluminum alloy casting processes, such as sand casting, mold casting, shell molding, die casting, and investment casting. It effectively removes impurities and eliminates gas bubbles, thereby improving casting quality and reducing production costs. Meanwhile, the filter mesh does not contaminate the molten aluminum or alter its chemical properties, further helping to lower overall costs.

Cut Filter Discs (Brown, Resin-Coated): Square or round discs, custom-cut to size. They are used for filtering aluminum castings and are placed within the gating system.
Special Shapes such as Caps (Brown or Black, Resin-Coated or Carbonized): Designed for low-pressure casting applications, such as aluminum alloy wheels and cylinder heads.
Smoke-Free Type (Black Carbonized): This type does not burn or emit smoke during the filtration process and has a low gas evolution rate. It is highly suitable for the production of high-quality castings, such as aluminum alloy pistons.

Iron Liquid Filter Mesh:                               Operating temperature is 1400~1450℃, with a softening point of about 1700℃.

Application Type:                     

Iron water filter mesh is made of high-silica glass fiber mesh and frosted mesh, coated with high-temperature resistant paint, providing good rigidity. It can be used to filter gray cast iron, ductile iron, and small steel castings. The iron water filter is cost-effective, easy to use, and does not alter the metal composition of the castings. It offers excellent slag filtration and has a low gas evolution rate.
Featuring high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and excellent chemical stability, this filter can withstand the flushing of molten metal and offers high structural strength. It efficiently filters impurities, reducing casting inclusions and porosity defects by over 50%, which significantly lowers the defect rate. Furthermore, it prevents turbulence and eddy currents in the molten metal during pouring, ensuring stable mold filling and reducing secondary oxidation. This greatly enhances both the internal and surface quality of the castings.

Steel Liquid Filter Mesh:                

Operating temperature is 1600~1620℃, with a softening point of about 1700℃.

Application Type:
Steel water filter mesh is woven from high-silica glass fiber. Its thickness is approximately three times that of iron water filter mesh, providing superior impact resistance. This filter effectively removes non-metallic impurities from the molten metal, such as inclusions, slag, and molding sand, while reducing turbulence and eliminating porosity in castings.
Steel water filter mesh can continuously operate in molten steel at 1620℃ for 10-15 seconds. When coated with zircon powder, its refractory temperature can reach 1640℃, making it an ideal choice for small steel castings. Additionally, it can also be used for filtering molten iron, suitable for gray iron and ductile iron castings that require high pouring temperatures and long pouring times. When used for non-ferrous metal filtration, it remains intact and can operate continuously for several hours.
